Filming the Adult Parts

Yesterday we decided to start recording for our film trailer. We decided to start with when the characters are adults as this is the opening on our trailer.

First of all we had a shot of the reporter (alex) pouring sugar into his drink and then looking at his watch to show he is waiting for someone. We thought we would open it with him as he is the main character in the film as the whole film relates on him, his past and the girl he used to like.

We then moved onto the part where the girl walk in. We decided we would start by seeing her shoes and then the camera zooms out and looks up her body to the reveal her face. I thought this would be a good way of showing the character for the first time. We did this shot many times so we could see which is our favourite.

We then recording the ending where they shake hands and she does something to impress him. We did two different filmings. The first was where she shakes his hand and then sits beside him trying to impress him. Our second was when she sits down and pulls out a mirror from her top and tries to see if she looks good enough for him.

I thought these are good ways to start and end a trailer all we need to do now is upload them to the laptop and see if they are good enough to be editted.

Magazine cover

Here is are new and improved front cover. I like the way in which we have used the colour pink and blue on this magazine as it shows our film is a rom com. The blue we chose fits in well with his tie which i think goes well. The image works well as a rom com as its of a couple.

We still have more work to do with this magazine cover which we will be working on at a later date.

Photos Of us Older for poster

Here are some images that we have taken for the bottom half of our poster. These images are of the two characters when they are older. As you may be able to tell we have taken the photos of the girl posing as tho she wants the man and he is not interested in her at all. Our favourite image and the one we are going to edit onto our poster is where he is looking at his phone ignoring the girl. We chose this one as it looks the best and shows each of the characters emotions. To edit this image i am going to put it onto a beige background as the one orignally on the picture doesn't look that good and wouldnt be on a rom-com poster.

Here is our final image that we are going to put on our front cover. All we need to do now is take some younger images to put on the top half of our poster.
